Mosaic Monday...

Hi everyone and Happy Mosaic Monday to you. I still haven't felt like myself yet so I haven't been posting again all this week. I hope that yous are doing good! I made some mosaics for everyone to see today and I have a wonderful and very touching story behind some of them.
As yous all know I have bad kidneys and I'm in and out of the hospital more then I'm home with surgeries, infections, kidney failure, stones and the list goes on and on. Well, back in October I had become very ill (even though I've been sick all of my life) and am still fighting to get well and my dear friend, Beth from Bellesanbeaus Crafts had made arrangements with some friends and my Church to have a card go around the world and be signed from friends as far away as England, Canada, Netherlands and then all throughout the US! Then Beth had spoke to a good friend of mine from my Church, Jean Bly and she got together with my friends there and a wonderful woman made me a gorgeous card and they all signed it for me to. I've had such a wonderful response from everyone, people I know and don't know, people I've only spoke to on the computer and friends and family alike. I have to say that I'm so touched by everyone for all your prayers, love, gifts, cards...I'm speechless except to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! I love all of yous...thank you! A very special thank you to you, Beth for thinking of me and doing all of this for me...I love you Sis!
So, here's the card that went all around the world:

Here's the card not in a mosaic:

Then here's the card that I had received from my Church:

Now for the beautiful card not made in the mosaic form:

Again, I want to thank all of you from the very bottom of my heart, yous don't know how much this means to me!
Also on this Mosaic Monday I want to share this mosaic picture of my wonderful, loving and so precious family:

I really enjoy making the mosaic pictures and then looking at all the wonderful mosaic pictures that everyone makes every week. But it's all thanks to Mary, at Little Red House. So, a big thank you to Mary for hosting this event! Also, if you would be so kind to visit Mary she'd love to have you, and while you're there to look at all the other mosaic pictures our friends here in Blogland have made, there's some beautiful and fascinating ones to for you to see!
Thanks so much for stopping in today and I hope that you have a beadiful day! So...until the next time, Bead Happy!
Hugs and happy beading...
Bobbi

Bobbi I am sorry to hear your have been so ill with your kidneys. My Mom was born with three kidneys and now she has one and half...she had major surgery when she was just 11 years old....I can't imagine what you go through. How very touching that she did that for you, you made and incredible mosaic tutorial for us all to enjoy. Thank you so much, and feel better soon.

Bobbi you're clearly a very special woman to have such a warm and loving extended 'family'. I'm so sorry about your health issues but it certainly hasn't stopped your creativity and obvious zest for living and loving. Beautiful mosaics!

The mosaic is beautiful filled with photos of a happy, loving family!

Since I am so new to your blog, I did not know of the illnesses you have had for so long. This was a precious post of the cards from those who know you and care about you.

I notice in your profile that you are from Parma, Ohio. When we were first married my husband and I mover to Middleburg Heights and lived there for two years. Our oldest child was born in Southwest General Hospital. We became born-again Christians there as well. We have fond memories of our time there.

Prayers and best wishes to you!
Kindly, ldh

Hey Bobbi, good to hear from you! A lovely and thoughtful post as always. My beloved late Nana always said that "you get what you give in this life" and it's no surprise to me even on our short online acquaitance that you should get such thoughtfulness and care from your friends as that is what you give to all of us!

Hope you are feeling better soon!

But how blessed to have such wonderful friends to do something as sweet as organize that round-robin card signing for you. How sweet!

Hi Bobbi,

First I love the name of your blog! Too cool. :0)

And I love, love the idea of the card traveling around the world and coming home to you. I think that is one of many things I love about blogland is the chance to talk to people from all over the world.

I love your mosaics...how do you get the whole image to show through all the different tiny pieces of the mosaics?...I have a bunch of templates but none [that I know of] that allow me to do that..I really like the look.

Seems like I saw a tutorial for that but for the life of me I can't remember where??

Thanks for visiting me and do come by anytime!

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥
