White River Rafting...

I wanted to share these 3 pictures with yous today. Two of my four sons, one of my daughter-n-laws and my sons girlfriend all went White River Rafting. I have to give them all the credit in the world though, it's something that I would never do, not in this lifetime nor another one! My daughter-n-law, Donna is the lady right in front of the man with the red helmet on in the back. Her husband, my second oldest son, Michael is 2 men in front of her. The guy in the picture that you can see his tattoo, that's my Mike. Now, on the other side of the raft in the back the last woman in the back is Sabrina my third oldest sons girlfriend. Then right in front of her is my Daniel. He looks like he's part off of the raft and has his mouth opened. Well, there's a very good reason that my Danny has his mouth opened and looks likes he's part off of the raft, he's sees what's about to happen to him. Yep, you guessed it, off the raft he goes. There he is swimming, lucky for him he's a good swimmer. lolAnyways, all the kids had a total blast and they even want to go back in October to! I say God Bless them! But if you might have the urge to go White River Rafting the kids all recommend River Expeditions

Oh, wow, I am such a chicken - I got nervous just looking at these pictures. I am totally with you - I'd never do this. I've kayaked, canoed (even in waters with alligators), and floated on rafts, but the white water stuff ... not for me! Hope you are feeling better every day!! Hugs, Silke

Hi Bobbi,
That looks so much fun but I know I'de be too chicken! Actually, a lady I work with just went this summer while on vacation and she is well into her sixties. She looks so prim and proper that you would never guess she would go! Hugs, Cindy

Hi Silke, I'm right with you being a chicken! The kids also had gotten a video of their rafting adventure, my heart was pounding so fast I just couldn't believe that it was actually my sons and their other halves that I was watching! Then when my Danny had fallen into those waters, well I didn't know what to do, laugh or cry! Even one else was laughing so I joined in to. Kids...what they won't do now a days!
The last few days for me have been some on the rough side, my back has been hurting. I guess that I just have to get more use to that nephrostomy bag being there! But I'm hanging in there and just waiting for the Dr.'s to figure out what they're going to be doing next. Thanks so much for asking and keeping me in your thoughts Silke, it's very much appreciated!
I hope that you have a fantastic day!
Hugs...

Hi Cindy, yep, you know you're so right, it does look like it'd be a lot of fun if I wasn't such a big chicken! lol I'm telling you, not in a million years would I even think about doing that! I would be so afraid! It'd be me in that water and I'd never be able to get myself out!
So, a lady that you work with in her sixties went and did this to. Wow! Now that's something! God Bless her! I'm in my fifties and not in this lifetime! lol
Thanks so much for stopping in today and i hope that you have a great day!
Hugs...
