Watch my Sunflower Grow...

Sunflowers have always fascinated me because of their size and all their beauty. I always found Sunflowers to be quite pretty so I decorated my dining room in Sunflowers and Roosters...what a combo, I know. lol
So then I decided to try to plant a couple of the gorgeous fellows outside my dining room window and sure enough, here's one of them in mid grow for you to see. There are 3 total but the other 2 don't look like they're doing so swell. I'm not sure why, but at least I have this one from the seeds, so I'm happy! These pictures aren't the very best though, my camera is on the fritz and their taken from my trusty cell phone! But, I even captured a bee in one of the shots to! I've heard they can grow as high as 10 feet, hmm well we'll just see about that now won't we.

How funny! I love sunflowers and roosters too! And I had planned to post a pic tomorrow of one I had come back volunteer from last year...only one! And it will get 10 feet tall! If it's the giant kind, the head may be 12 inches across. Mine were last year! Have fun with them!!

Hi Lynda, Oh my gosh, how funny is that! lol That's the second time now that I posted something that you were just about to post. lol We really do have a lot in common then now don't we. How great is that though. Oh, I hope that some of mine come back next year voluntarily, that would be so awesome! So...you also have Sunflowers and Roosters, I'm so glad to hear that because for years people have made fun of me for the combo of them. Personally, I believe they go along and get along together just wonderful. lol
I hope that you don't have to work this weekend, I know that you've been quite busy lately. Have a wonderful, quiet weekend filled with all the things that you want to do! Thanks so much for stopping in.
